Artist Statement

My work attempts to represent different views of life and society that interest me. They are  representations of public and intimate moments that are part of Western culture that moves me in a particular way even though they are sometimes part of people’s  common routine.

I do not intend to deliver a specific message but the representation of moments, human activities that may or may not identify the viewer. As a fan of film and comics, my work depicts scenes or stories, and sometimes and my works can be seen as part of a sequence, such as a frame taken from a movie.

Overall my interest is figurative art in its various representations, my production is graphic so far but it is fed  from various sources such as sculpture, architecture and literature. My inspiration and key influences are classical wertern painting, comics and films.
